Daisy's Table Bed

Litte Daisy is not so little anymore.  She turned 3 in October and we decided it was time to get her out of her crib.  The older girls were in twin beds by age 2, but with Daisy, we just never felt the need to rush it.  She loves her crib, feels secure; we were comforted that she couldn't hop out in the middle of the night.

Her toddler bed was delivered yesterday, she and I put it together with ease.  She calls it her "Table Bed" (Table Bed =Toddler Bed) And she says it looks "like a table, just like all the other beds in this house!"  I sometimes wish that for just one day I could see the world through their eyes.

 I found this vintage dresser at my favorite thrift shop last week.  It gorgeous old glass knobs, the girls love it for the mirror.


She actually stayed in her bed through Night 1, and napped in it today.  I'm so relieved! I figured she would be up all night going potty just because she could helping herself to drinks of water, playing with her toys or jumping in bed with her sisters.
